They Called It Puppy Love

Saturday night a couple of our friends came over to hang out and also enjoy some Sushi. Margaret brought along her sweet little 14mo Shiba Inu, Autumn, to play with Kedge. Needless to say, I think they hit it off. :)

Silly Puppeh

Kids- "Moooooooom! You gotta come see this!!!!"

Hmmmm, I wonder if they'll notice that I'm in here....

Mojo- "Mom, what is he doing IN the toybox??? Can you please tell him its for toys, NOT PUPPIES!"

But there is LOTS of cool stuff in here! Its like a treasure chest! :D

oooh, this smells GOOD!!!

MMMmmmmm.... and TASTES great too!!!

Moni-"Kedge, what did you get??" (puts camera down to investigate)
"Nope, no hoofies. Lets trade for a treat..." (Uhoh, he likes hoofie more than treat)
"Hey, look! Its bigfoot!!!" (sneaks hoofie away quietly)

Momma!!! Where'd it go?
(I honestly was suspicious of one of the kids putting him in the toybox until I saw this...)

It was just right here....

Maybe that bigfoot thing took it???

Kida's Birthday and an Afternoon with the Crew

Yesterday was the Fiesty One's Birthday.

Momma took us for a loooong walk to a new field.

It was pretty windy and cold out, but at least there were lots of new smells and things to check out.

Momma says its time to go home, something about not feeling her fingers???

I can get on the couch by myself now, but Momma thinks that I'm trying to take after the Feisty one, whatever that means?

Time for a Nap, we were all tired after our romp

(For Kida's Birthday, I took the crew to one of the back fields that Kedge hasn't been to before. I started taping our walk on the way back, so there is about 15 minutes of the crew just checking things out and being their goofy selves. I had to split it into 2 parts due to the time limit on YT. A nice surprise for the pups was a huge patch of snow still hiding back there. They seemed to enjoy it a lot.)

First Conformation Show

So today momma and the tall kid took me to a new place. We woke up really early(4am) and went in the car forever! After a while, we finally were able to get out and stretch our legs. There were a lot of other Aussies and people there. Momma let the tall kid have the flash box for a while, while we walked around and checked everything out.

What is this place?

I have to go in there??? Are you sure?

Ok momma, if you're coming too, it should be ok.

I remember this table trick, at least the treats are good (though momma says we're going to have to practice a lot more of looking in my mouth... whatever that means)

I guess it'll be fine as long as the treats keep coming along

That nice man gave me and momma a pretty red ribbon, and she was so proud of me!

I don't know what the big deal was, we already know I'm adorable...

But if it makes her smile, that was fun enough to do! :D

Momma and the tall kid won some nice presents with their tickets. Momma's was a pretty Aussie picture.

We had to give away the tall kid's purple and yellow present though, it was so big it couldn't even fit in our car! Too bad that looked fun! It did make another nice man happy though!

It was a long day meeting all those other Aussies and new people, and it was hard work trying to remember not to jump on everyone.

I hope that we get to do it again, I had a great time! Momma says I can nap the whole way home if I want.

Hey, what's that? Oh, thank goodness! I really had to go after that long wait in the car. Momma said it was a traffic jam, but I didn't smell any jelly?

Finally, almost home..... g'nite everyone!

Moni here, Kedge took 2nd out of 3 puppies in his first Conformation Show. :) He was entered in the 2-4 month dogs. This is an ASCA show put on by ASCNE in Taunton, MA to benefit Aussie Rescue. Kedge REALLY wanted to play with the other puppies, so was at the end of his leash most of it. It was a good learning experience and gives me a better idea on what I have to really work on.
